​In partnership with Alexandria Co. for Investment & Urban Development, we are delivering a world-class aquatic landmark within the prestigious Grandview Smouha development. This project represents a sophisticated blend of architectural luxury and advanced marine engineering, designed to provide an immersive underwater experience for residents and visitors alike.

​Technical Specifications & Scope

​1. Structural Engineering & Basin Integrity

​The aquarium features a custom-engineered reinforced concrete basin designed to hold significant water volumes.

​High-Performance Waterproofing: Applied a multi-stage, marine-grade blue epoxy membrane to ensure a 100% leak-proof environment and chemical resistance.

​Precision Glazing Prep: Engineered heavy-duty steel bracing systems (visible in the structural phase) to support the installation of massive acrylic viewing panels, ensuring optical clarity and safety under high hydraulic pressure.

​2. State-of-the-Art Life Support Systems (LSS)

​The "behind-the-scenes" infrastructure utilizes industrial-grade technology to maintain a stable and healthy ecosystem.

​Mechanical & Biological Filtration: High-rate sand filters and specialized bio-media towers (LSS Room) work in tandem to remove particulate matter and manage nitrogen cycles.

​Protein Fractionation: Industrial-scale skimmers (EC Systems) are installed to remove organic compounds, ensuring crystal-clear water and high oxygen saturation.

​Automated Circulation: A complex network of color-coded PVC piping and high-efficiency pumps ensures constant water turnover and redundancy, vital for marine life longevity.
